Amazon Prime X Tiny Holiday House

THE BRIEF

Amazon came to the agency looking to help launch Amazon Prime, their innovative eCommerce platform, into the Australian market and wanted an experiential campaign that would showcase the huge variety of products that were available on the site in the most engaging & PR’able way

THE PASSION

Home ownership is the #1 aspiration for Australians and the market for affordable and moveable Tiny Houses has grown significantly in recently years. Yet often there are serious setbacks to fulfilling these aspirations, inlcuding the 2019 summer bushfire season which was one of the worst natural disasters on record in Australia, with over 18 million hectares of land lost and thousands of homes destroyed across the country

THE WORK

Havas Sports & Entertainment launched a nationwide competition for one lucky Australian to win a fully functional and moveable Tiny House, filled with amazing products from Amazon Prime. We built the house from scratch and placed the house in one of the highest traffic locations in Sydney. Members of the public were invited to explore the house then visit the Amazon microsite, telling us in 25 words or less why they or a friend needed some Christmas cheer

​A week before Christmas, we surprised the deserving winner, a single mother whose house had burnt down in the bushfires, with her brand-new tiny home. We drove significant engagement on-ground as well as working with village PR agency, One Green Bean to deliver huge media coverage
